The desire to engage in life roles is universal to each person, regardless of age or ability. Each phase of life places developmental demands to progress toward independence and achievement. Sometimes the pathway to life fulfillment is affected by challenges to be overcome.

Whole Life’s Partnership With Gem MD
Jana and Dr. Eva Meyrat met at a mother’s event 15 years ago and developed a friendship they managed to keep going while both working for a major medical system in north Texas, and raising kids. Eva decided to branch out on her own, opening her sole practice as a direct primary care physician. This was a needed addition to Rockwall, for uninsured, and under-insured clients seeking quality medical care at an accessible price.
In 2020, Eva began in earnest planning to construct a new building for her practice. Many delays ensued, including COVID, supply chain issues, “snowmageddin” in 2021, and the unpredictable banking conditions. Finally, in late 2022, she broke ground on her new building, and was able to move in June 2023. Jana eagerly answered “yes” to Eva’s invitation to join her in the venture as a renter in the new space, providing occupational therapy services to her clients, and to the community. Dr. Eva has a speech therapist, physical therapist, and aesthetician renting space within her building, providing access to comprehensive care.
